Grandma’s bag of stories is a short stories book written by Sudha Murthy. The book consists of twenty two short stories inspired by her childhood stories which were told by her grandmother Krishna and she wrote this book with some changes in the stories of her childhood and each story ends with a message and teaches moral values of life through these stories which helps children to learn values of life.

Author Sudha Murthy is well known personality who is now chairperson of Infosys along with being writer and She Belongs to Shiggaon in Karnataka and born in 1950. She did M.Tech in Computer science. She writes in English and Kannada as well and she wrote many books and short stories for children specially. She was awarded with Padma shri in 2006 and also awarded with R.K Narayan award for her contribution in Literature.
